Please note:
- A Sovereign Hill entry ticket is required in order to attend a photography sitting.
- The photographic experience takes 15 minutes and your prints will be ready to pick up in an hour.
- These sessions have limited spaces on offer, so we recommend visiting the Red Hill Photography Rooms as soon as you arrive at Sovereign Hill in order to confirm your appointment.

Yes, we have fitting rooms and the costumes fit over most of your everyday clothes easily.

Are the sitting fee tickets refundable?
As our studio is very busy and books out very quickly the sitting fee is non-refundable.
What happens if I am running late?
Running late will result in your reservation being cancelled. If you require your reservation to be moved for other reasons, please contact the studio as soon as possible and staff will try their hardest to reschedule another time.
Can kids take part in the Sovereign Hill Photography Experience?
Yes, the Photography Experience is suitable for both kids and adults, making it a wonderful family activity. It is a popular way to create a memorable portrait together during your visit.
Is the Red Hill Photography studio accessible?
Yes, the studio is wheelchair accessible via a ramp at the entrance. We also cater to a wide range of hidden disabilities and communication preferences. Our team utilises communication boards and is always happy to adapt the pace and structure of the session to suit individual needs.
