Sovereign Hill is currently open daily 10am - 5pm. All Annual Pass holders and visitors must prebook a ticket online.

Much loved activities such as the troopers and redcoats, panning for gold in the diggings, and coach rides, will all be available, but with some changes. The streets will be brought to life with characters in costume. Some experiences will not be available due to government restrictions, please check our program modifications here.

- Face masks:
In line with government requirements, visitors are required to carry a face mask at all times. Face masks should be worn where visitors are unable to maintain 1.5m distance from others.
All visitors will be required to wear a face mask if they are undertaking a quartz mine tour, having a costume photo taken in the Red Hill Photographic Rooms or attending AURA.
To ensure Sovereign Hill is safe and secure, on-site payments will preferably be conducted via contactless bank card, sanitisation stations and clear social distancing signage will be active throughout the site. staff, volunteers and visitors will be asked COVID-19 screening questions ahead of entry.
