Sovereign Hill is calling for nominations for its Board of Directors.

Nominations are now open and will close at on Sunday, 13 September 2026 at 5pm.

This is your opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction and governance of one of Australia’s most significant cultural institutions.

In 2026, five Director positions are to be filled, each carrying a three-year term. Retiring Directors are eligible to renominate.

Eligibility

To be eligible for election as a Director, nominees must:

  • Be a member, life member, or life governor as at the date of nomination, the date of appointment, and throughout their term.

  • Have their nomination form signed by at least five members eligible to vote at the election.

  • Be willing to undergo any application, probity, or similar checks as required by the Association.

  • Not, by their election, prejudice the Association’s ability to hold any necessary government licence, consent, or authority for its operations.

Nomination Process

  • Nominations must be made using the prescribed form below.
  • Completed forms must be submitted by the closing date.

  • All forms must include the required signatures of supporting members.
