VCE Outdoor and Environmental Studies Masterclass
90 mins
Students learn about Australia’s natural environment and investigate the way it has been manipulated over time. Topics include traditional Aboriginal land, European settlement through squatters, the quest for gold, and impact on our natural environment and its unique flora and fauna. Students then explore the impacts of these dramatic changes through a guided tour of Sovereign Hill featuring exhibits that reveal how quickly Ballarat’s landscapes and ecosystems were transformed.
