Diversity and inclusion
Sovereign Hill is committed to being an inclusive workplace and visitor experience. We are a proud member of Diversity Council Australia (DCA), Australia’s peak body leading workplace diversity and inclusion, giving our people access to national research, tools and resources that support our diversity goals.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and life experiences.
We partner with Queer Town to deliver LGBTQIA+ education training and inclusion programs with our team.
We also actively support a REFLECT Reconciliation Action Plan, demonstrating strong organisational commitment to First Nations communities and cultural partnership across our site. Our programs and collaborations are designed to strengthen understanding, connection and shared opportunities with First Nations peoples.
To better support people with diverse abilities, we partner with Hidden Disabilities Sunflower and Aspect Australia, enhancing our visitor and workplace accessibility practices, particularly for people on the autism spectrum and with other disability needs.
Our commitment to accessibility and inclusion has been recognised with Gold for Excellence in Accessible Tourism at the Victorian Tourism Awards, reflecting our ongoing work to make experiences at Sovereign Hill welcoming and accessible for everyone.
