Outside of school holiday periods and public holidays we are open to the general public 6 days a week, Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. We want to make your visit unforgettable. From the moment you arrive until the time you reluctantly leave, we’ve got you covered with all you need to make the most of your time.

Tickets & Passes

Sovereign Hill daily tickets operate for the majority of the year, however there are a few times in the year where special events kick in and our ticket prices change.

Getting Here

Sovereign Hill is in Ballarat, which is the third largest city in Victoria. It's a short trip from Melbourne by car or public transport.

The New York Bakery Function Setup at Sovereign Hill features elegantly arranged dining tables draped in white linens, set with vintage-inspired cutlery, crystal glassware, and delicate floral centerpieces. Warm chandeliers, large windows with golden drapes, and a classic fireplace enhance the refined, historic ambiance of this event space within Sovereign Hill’s iconic New York Bakery venue, perfect for memorable celebrations and gatherings.
