By joining a fully-guided mine tour group, visitors can walk through a series of long tunnels to hear stories of early mining and experience the feeling of working in an underground mine. To take a fully guided tour of the Quartz Mine's underground displays, visitors should descend the steps at the hut near the Poppet Head. Mine tours are available at regular intervals and take about 40 minutes.
