-21- Dilges' Blacksmith Shop Dilges' Blacksmith Shop at Sovereign Hill is based on a photograph of the original Dilges' Forge in Sebastopol, Ballarat. Our blacksmith shows the varied business of the 1850's smithy, and here you can watch the blacksmith make simple mining and domestic ironware. An important part of the blacksmith's work is the shoeing of Sovereign Hill's working horses.
